Meet the Team

David Connor MRCVS - Veterinary Surgeon

David joined the team at Kingston in 2014 having qualified from Cambridge in 2009 and previously worked in Essex and  Surrey before locuming for GVG and eventually settling at the Kingston surgery.  He has a particular interest in medicine and managing medical cases.

Outside of work David has a cat called Larry who is very old, epileptic but absolutely lovely.  David enjoys playing squash and racketball and used to play bass for a band and DJ.

 

Katy Butt - Registered Veterinary Nurse

Katy worked in veterinary practice in Surbiton for four years prior to joining the Goddard Veterinary Group in Kingston in 2007. She qualified as a Registered Veterinary Nurse [RVN] in 2006. Katy is responsible for running the weight clinics at the surgery and advises and supports clients and their pets with nutritional and exercise programmes. She has had some great successes and finds it especially rewarding when pets clearly feel so much better and happier having lost the weight.

Katy has a particular interest in cats and was instrumental in bringing the surgery up to the International Society for Feline Medicine’s standards to be recognised as a Cat Friendly Practice in 2013.Katy is hoping to begin her Feline Nursing Diploma studies in the near future and also runs a cat sitting service covering Surbiton and Kingston, as well as owning her own rescue Mainecoon called Charlie.

Emma Doubleday - Nursing Assistant

Emma joined the Goddard Group in December 2015 having previously worked as a veterinary receptionist as well as running two theatre companies.  Emma has a degree in European Theatre Arts and very much enjoys most creative activities outside of work.  She is owned by three pampered cats, Angel, Ping and Wozzy who are very easy going and great company.
